Rose Golden Luxury Set Zoeva brushes

Along with all the other pennies I've spent recently, part of what I was saving for, my most exciting purchase, is my shiny new Rose Golden Luxury Set Zoeva brushes.
I've heard good reviews about the quality of these brushes. They are certainly living up to their reviews. They are super soft, this is down to the mix of sypethic and natural fibres. They are good with the mixture of powders and creams in my makeup door. Application wise the 102 silk finish is excellent with my new Nars foundation, and 231 luxe pettit crease is the perfect size for my eye crease and makes a smoky eye a dream to create. These are deffinately my two favourite brushes out of the set of 8.

They are a very ellegent looking set due to the rose gold which makes them stand out from all my other brushes.

The set also comes with a handy little cute travel case. My photography skills are not that great but they do look really good.

I also purchased the cleanser, some eye shadow pallets & eyeliner

  4. Hmm...instead of reposting the same comment, I'll try to add in a new beauty tip each time! :)

Tip: I find that it's hard for me to do a cat-eye sometimes, so what I try to do is make a dot on each side to where the wing will end and then I make the line. If I do it right, then the wings are usually even. lol

  5. Tip: My current favorite obsession is stage makeup for film, but specifically the makeup product is the HD cream foundations from Graftobian, Mehron, and Ben Nye. These foundations are under rated but are great! The coverage is excellent and will make you HD ready for the camera and real life!

  6. Tip: My favorite product to contour my face is NYX Blush in Taupe. It is basically a cool-tone taupe powder that is the PERFECT contour shade. The natural shadows on a person face is cool-tone not usually brown-tone, so the NYX Taupe is perfect for a realistic contour. I've only gotten compliments on my cheeks when I wore Nyx Taupe lol

  7. Tip: The closer our blush is to your nose, the more "clowny" the blush becomes and it looks a little bit overdone or unnatural. I know because I've done this before.

  8. Tip: I have super oily skin, so on days where I want to look perfect and matte all day long, I use a combo of Maybelline Baby Skin (?) and The Body Shop InstaBlur. I also love to use the Sephora Anti-Shine primer before makeup and then the UD Finisher Spray after, but that's a more pricey combo.

  9. Tip: It's so much better to do your foundations in thin layers instead of having too much foundation and trying to spread it all over your face evenly.

  10. Tip: I've been wearing waterproof mascara for 6 years (wow, that's a long time) and the eye makeup remover that I have used from the beginning is Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover and I will never change. It's my holy grail and will take everything off! I like Bioderma for the face but the Neutrogena one will still be for my eyes.

  11. Tip: I am far from being a pro at eyebrows and I need help myself sometimes, but when it comes to eyebrow shapes it's easier and natural when you just follow the normal shape of your eyebrows. Let them grow and just pluck what needs to be plucked.

  12. Fun Fact: In film makeup, the key things to focus on are the contour and everything has to be matte, unless the scene calls for someone who is sweating or greasy.
